Is it possible for a crafting spirit to be inherited? Perhaps, perhaps not, but with an extremely creative mother (pictured above), there was no question that I was going to end up being a creative. However, where she is talented in the kitchen, baking up sweet treats to die for (check out Home Bakes by Rachel on Instagram!), I have become a hoarder of paints, paper, and random odds and ends.

During the summer of 2020, when COVID lockdowns were in full swing and “isolation” was the key word, I started designing cards to bring people closer together. I picked up watercolours, a medium I was completely inexperienced in, and started painting.

 

Since then, I have poured my creativity (and free-time) into creating quirky, sweet, and funny pieces of art that will bring a smile to anyone’s face. And creating art to decorate my house...
